About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Home Health team at Interim HealthCare. As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing personalized, home-based physical therapy to patients who have lost mobility, strength, and functionality due to an illness or injury.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide home-based physical therapy to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, HHAs, OTs, and SLPs, to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Assist with documenting exercises in patient charts and printing out exercises for home as directed by the treating Physical Therapist.
  • Participate in educating patients and their families on exercises and provide guidance on proper technique under the supervision of the treating Physical Therapist.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program and active PTA license in Colorado.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of physical therapy assistant experience, preferably in a home healthcare setting.
  • CPR Certification (demonstration course required).
  • Pass a background check and drug test.
  • Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations.
  • Good clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, dexterity, and compassion.
