Job Description: As a School Garden Program Coordinator, you will assist teachers and staff in coordinating farm-to-school classes and activities. You will also maintain gardens, greenhouses, and irrigation systems, and perform other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and implementing farm-to-school classes and activities.
  • Maintain gardens, greenhouses, and irrigation systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Nutrition Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; preferably in horticulture, agriculture, education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with children, gardening, and food systems a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainable farming practices and physical demands of the job.
