Murfreesboro School Bus Operations Lead

**Job Overview:** Wyndy LLC is seeking a highly skilled transportation coordinator to join our team in Murfreesboro, TN. As a critical member of our operations team, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of students to and from school.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual who is passionate about working with children and delivering exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for developing and implementing daily transportation schedules and routes, collaborating with school administrators to address student transportation needs, ensuring compliance with state and district transportation policies and regulations, coordinating and supervising school bus drivers and monitors, monitoring fleet maintenance and repair activities, resolving transportation-related issues in a timely manner, fostering positive relationships with parents and community stakeholders, maintaining accurate transportation records and documentation, and assisting in budgeting and resource allocation for transportation services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement daily transportation schedules and routes to ensure safe and efficient student transport
- Collaborate with school administrators to address student transportation needs and provide support as required
- Ensure compliance with state and district transportation policies and regulations
- Coordinate and supervise school bus drivers and monitors to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Monitor fleet maintenance and repair activities to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization
- Resolve transportation-related issues in a timely and professional manner
- Foster positive relationships with parents and community stakeholders through effective communication and conflict resolution
- Maintain accurate transportation records and documentation to facilitate reporting and analysis
- Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for transportation services to optimize resource utilization
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation coordination or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues, students, and parents
- Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively as part of a team

Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
