Job Summary:

Leaders Furniture is seeking a skilled Furniture Restoration Specialist to join our repair team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring various types of furniture to their original condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and Repair Furniture: Conduct thorough inspections of furniture to identify defects and damage, and then repair or restore the item to its original condition.
  • Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Use your mechanical skills and knowledge of woodworking to identify and solve problems with furniture, and to develop creative solutions to complex repair challenges.
  • Safety and Quality: Ensure that all repairs are completed safely and to a high standard of quality, and that all work is done in a clean and organized workspace.
  • Collaboration and Cross-Training: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals, and be willing to cross-train in other departments to expand your skills and knowledge.
  • Time Management and Efficiency: Manage your time effectively to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks to ensure that all repairs are completed on time.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Language Skills: Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Math Skills: Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
