KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Provide general hardware support for PCs, servers, printers, phones, and UPS systems.
• Act as a primary contact for IT-related technical issues.
• Deploy, configure, and upgrade desktop and laptop PCs with Microsoft and engineering application software, utilizing automated methods when feasible.
• Procure IT equipment and supplies, including computers, printers, peripherals, toner, and mobile devices.
• Manage and track all IT licensing for compliance, including Microsoft, Adobe, Solidworks, AutoCAD, etc.
• Maintain records for equipment contracts and renewals.
• Conduct user training sessions for Office, Outlook, and Remote VPN.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT technical issues, including PCs, printers, mobile devices, phone systems, Windows servers, standard application software, and network connectivity.
• Lead various IT-related projects across multiple business departments.
• Ensure data integrity by evaluating, proposing, implementing, and managing software and hardware solutions.
• Design server file sharing and application security protocols across the organization.
• Perform system software upgrades on PCs and servers.
• Administer user provisioning, including Windows accounts, Active Directory, security groups, and folder access.
• Manage email accounts, distribution groups, and security groups.
• Oversee mobile device management.
• Facilitate web and audio conferencing solutions.
• Ensure backup and restoration capabilities for servers.
• Develop disaster recovery plans.
• Assist remote users with connectivity challenges.
• Maintain comprehensive IT documentation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• CompTIA A+ Essentials certification.
• Microsoft MTA IT Infrastructure certification minimum; MCSE preferred.
• Self-motivated with resourceful and independent working habits.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Passionate about technology and current trends.
• A commitment to ongoing training and skill enhancement related to current and future technologies.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Dell hardware is preferred.
