Job Summary

Pasta Montana is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for performing complex bookkeeping, accounting, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately code and post Account Payables invoices and prepare outgoing payments to vendors.
  • Process Account Receivable invoices daily, disburse to customers, and process through EDI platforms.
  • Audit, track, and book Corporate Credit Card expenses and prepare reports tracking monthly spending.
  • Develop and maintain accrual tools for customer rebates and marketing fees payable to customers.
  • Maintain Sales Register data and prepare a monthly customer shipping accrual report.
  • Assist in tracking and managing sales activities.
  • Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
  • Prepare orders for Online sales through Amazon, maintain site protocols, and reconcile payments.
  • Assist with front desk coverage and administrative duties.
  • Assist with BRC Internal Audits.
  • Attend meetings as required. Occasional travel may be required.
Requirements
  • Minimum Education: 2-years post-secondary education in business/accounting, or equivalent experience or qualifications.
  • Minimum Experience: 4-years of bookkeeping experience or related experience required.
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently, plan, organize and prioritize responsibilities. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills. Ability to work cooperatively with others. Able to function as a motivated team member in a highly dynamic environment. Must be able to work in and communicate effectively in a team setting; efficient in problem solving. Excellent attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial data analysis. Ability to use accounting software. Ability to efficiently operate a 10-key calculator or equivalent and other related office equipment. Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
