Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Supervise and oversee transportation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and meeting client expectations.
- Project Management: Lead a variety of projects, including roadway, underground utility, drainage, traffic, and infrastructure improvements.
- Client Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal clients, identifying their needs and delivering solutions that meet their expectations.
- Business Development: Assist in developing new transportation project business, including proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and project staffing.
- Project Staffing: Manage local and Federal Aid projects for various clients, including local agencies, DOT, and counties.
- Mentorship: Mentor and train junior staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of relevant work experience and 2+ years of project management experience.
- License: Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
- Skills: Roadway and infrastructure design experience using TXDOT and County design criteria, experience working with municipalities and county staff, and proficiency in Microstation/Geopak.
