About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Geotechnical Engineer/Project Manager to join our team in Houston, TX.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market geotechnical engineering services to transportation clients in Texas
  • Leverage experience with TXDOT design-build projects
  • Manage client relationships and satisfaction
  • Prepare proposals and invoices
  • Oversee field engineering and testing
  • Conduct engineering analyses, technical reporting, and consultation on transportation projects
  • Collaborate with ESP operations for technical support
  • Maintain quality of work and deliverables

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent (Master's preferred)
  • Professional Engineering License in Texas
  • 5-10 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience on transportation projects
  • TXDOT geotechnical design experience, including design-build projects
  • Strong technical skills, including foundation analysis, settlement analysis, slope stability, ground improvement techniques, seismic analysis, and liquefaction analysis
  • Results-oriented, with excellent organization, planning, and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership and personnel management skills
  • Proactive business development

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $140,000 per year
