Job Title: Fleet Maintenance Manager

$85,000 - $110,000 per year (depending on experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations, managing a team, and meeting contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee daily maintenance operations for the para-route van service.
  2. Meet all contractual maintenance requirements.
  3. Deliver detailed daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
  4. Effectively manage the budget to support the overall maintenance program.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of recent experience managing maintenance functions in a similar environment.
  • ASE Master certification required.
  • Ability to teach preferred.
  • Experience managing/directing a team of 10+ employees.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with clients.
  • Ability to track and control parts inventories, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Prioritize, implement, and manage work schedules, projects, and assignments.
  • Strong computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Technical competence with light/medium/heavy-duty vehicle repair and preventive maintenance.
  • Experience with fixed route transit bus maintenance.
