Job Summary

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for administering radiopharmaceuticals and radiation to detect and treat diseases. You will work with radioisotope equipment and perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and radiation to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
  • Operate radioisotope equipment to perform screening procedures and diagnostic imaging.
  • Coordinate patient flow and maintain procedure quality control.
  • Document all pertinent information regarding radioactive materials and surveys.
Requirements
  • Diploma or certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
  • State Nuclear Medicine License (required in CA and HI).
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine or Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Venipuncture certification (required in CA and HI).
