Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at a reputable hospital in Huntington Park, California. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for administering radiopharmaceuticals and radiation to detect and treat diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously to detect or treat diseases, using radioisotope equipment.
  • Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation.
  • Coordinate patient flow and maintain procedure quality control.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine: Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in nuclear medicine technology or equivalent: Preferred
  • State Nuclear Medicine License: Required in CA and HI
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine OR Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist: Required in CA and OR
  • Venipuncture certification: Required in CA and HI
