Role Responsibilities:

Under minimal supervision, the Janitor is tasked with fulfilling all cleaning and maintenance requirements for the property. This includes:

  • Executing comprehensive cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all users of the facilities.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in restrooms, hallways, and communal areas.
  • Utilizing sanitation chemicals correctly and safely.
  • Coordinating with supervisors for basic maintenance tasks, such as light repairs and upkeep.
  • Setting up spaces for events and programs.
  • Managing inventory and liaising with supervisors for janitorial supplies.
  • Conducting regular inspections to identify maintenance needs.
  • Performing vehicle upkeep, including washing and vacuuming.
  • Monitoring the exterior of the property for cleanliness and safety compliance.
  • Responding to emergencies with appropriate actions and notifications.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED and ideally have one year of experience in customer service roles. A valid driver's license is preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to interact respectfully with diverse populations and maintain confidentiality. Proficiency in English for communication and comprehension is essential. Candidates should also be capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting up to 60 pounds.
