Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that meets the needs of our preschoolers, including weekly themes and lesson plans.
  • Provide a safe, responsive, and stimulating environment that promotes learning and development.
  • Form and maintain professional relationships with parents and families, including regular communication and progress updates.
  • Assess the development of our preschoolers using the Creative Curriculum and maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct regular parent-teacher conferences to discuss progress and set goals.
  • Supervise and direct the work of our assistant teachers, aides, and volunteers to ensure that our program runs smoothly.
  • Maintain all necessary certifications and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years of experience working with preschool-age children in a center-based setting.
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent, or enrollment in a CDA program.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • At least three years of experience working with preschool-age children in a center-based setting.
