Permanent Placement Resources, LLC is proud to present an exciting opportunity for an Ophthalmology Physician. This position is within a well-established healthcare organization that is committed to delivering exceptional medical services through a robust regional network. The practice environment is dynamic and fast-paced, where your contributions will be recognized and valued.

Practice Overview:
  • The Eye & Vision Institute comprises a dedicated team of ophthalmologists, optometrists, and opticians, providing comprehensive eye care services including vision assessments, corrective lenses, and screenings for ocular diseases.
  • Work schedule includes a 5-day work week (Monday to Friday), with flexibility for a 4-day option. The physician will see a substantial number of patients monthly and perform surgeries at a state-of-the-art outpatient surgical facility.
  • One day each week will be spent at a secondary location, ensuring a diverse practice experience.
  • Case mix includes a variety of comprehensive ophthalmology procedures such as cataract surgery, corneal treatments, diabetic eye care, eyelid surgeries, glaucoma management, and age-related macular degeneration.
  • The patient demographic primarily consists of adults, with opportunities to treat pediatric patients if desired.
  • Each physician is provided with three dedicated examination rooms and a supportive, experienced staff.
  • Office technology includes advanced equipment such as YAG lasers, OCT machines, visual field analyzers, and more.
  • While LASIK is not currently offered, there is potential for this service to be introduced.
  • The call schedule is manageable, with a 1:5 rotation, primarily involving phone consultations.
  • Compensation is competitive, exceeding the 75th percentile, with many physicians earning above the 90th percentile. A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are also included.
