Join Our Team as a Float Pool Registered Nurse at Grandview Medical Center

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team at Grandview Medical Center. As a Float Pool Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in various medical and surgical areas, including Cardiology, Oncology, Neurology, Women's Health, Mental Health, Digestive Diseases, Orthopedics, Physical Medicine and Rehab, Sports Medicine, and Emergency Care.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate assigned patients and develop individualized care plans.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
  • Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
  • Teach patients and families to understand their conditions, medications, and self-care skills, promoting independence and empowerment.
  • Utilize experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performing a variety of tasks with precision and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with standard nursing concepts, practices, and procedures is essential for success in this role.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience, an Associate's degree in nursing, and an active, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse are required.
