Gas Turbine Operations Specialist

On Grid Infrastructure Services is seeking experienced Gas Turbine Operators for GE LM 2500 gas turbines and associated auxiliary systems. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity requiring a solid understanding of equipment controls and logic, as well as the ability to interpret electrical and controls schematics. This role is not intended for entry-level candidates.
The primary responsibilities include managing gas turbine controls and providing essential support for job execution through the following duties:
- Operate gas turbine systems
- Oversee troubleshooting processes for gas turbines and related equipment
- Utilize and apply relevant software effectively
- Conduct pre-job and post-job analyses as necessary
- Adhere to safety regulations and standard operating procedures
- Train personnel on gas turbine operations and troubleshooting techniques
- Assess operational readiness of gas turbines and associated equipment
- Manage projects related to the electrical and controls manufacturing of new turbine package builds
- Implement more efficient working practices when applicable
- Review new control systems and related equipment for gas turbines
- Assist with installation and commissioning of gas turbines and other equipment
