Warehouse Associate Job Description

Burnett Specialists Staffing | Recruiting is seeking a skilled Warehouse Associate to join our team on a contract basis. As a key member of our supply chain operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies related to oil and gas operations.
  • Prepare and package materials for shipment to various locations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory management.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse processes and improve efficiency.
  • Assist with regular warehouse audits and inventory counts.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment, specifically in the oil and gas industry.
  • Familiarity with oil and gas materials, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Valid forklift certification is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to [X] lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
