Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Opa Locka, Florida.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art facility. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive materials for diagnostic imaging procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and administer radioactive materials for diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Develop and implement patient care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • Certified as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist program
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
