We are seeking a dedicated Radiology Specialist in Nuclear Medicine to enhance our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. In this pivotal role, you will be essential in executing advanced technical procedures and employing radionuclides for the assessment and treatment of medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting radionuclide examinations on patients
  • Managing Nuclear Medicine apparatus
  • Ensuring radiation safety
  • Preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals
  • Calibrating devices and measuring radionuclides
  • Maintaining documentation in compliance with regulations
  • Adhering to established protocols and practices
  • Assessing images for diagnostic significance
  • Participating in rotating job assignments
  • Carrying out daily administrative tasks
  • Complying with organizational competencies
  • Performing additional responsibilities as required

Qualifications

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Competent computer skills

Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- At least one year of experience in Nuclear Medicine

Licenses and Certifications Required:
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Nuclear Medical Technologist License
- AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification

Working Conditions:
- Capable of lifting a minimum of 25 lbs.
- Able to push and pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Required to stand for a minimum of 6 hours daily
