Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Chief CT Technologist to join our team at Atlantic Medical Imaging. This leadership position will oversee the daily operations of our CT department, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Daily CT Operations: Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of our CT technologists, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Develop and Maintain Schedules: Create and manage monthly CT schedules, ensuring proper staffing and minimizing downtime.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Ensure that all quality control functions are performed as required, and maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and calibration.
  • Staff Development and Training: Provide orientation and training to new staff members, and conduct regular performance evaluations to ensure high standards of performance.
  • Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Work with our management team to install new equipment and ensure that all sites, rooms, and equipment are ready for clinical use.
  • Scanning and Imaging: Perform all computerized axial tomography examinations per departmental policies, and perform additional functions as directed by the radiologist or as per standard departmental policy.
  • Patient Care and Safety: Ensure that all patients receive high-quality care and attention, and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
  • Current ARRT CT Registry: Must hold a current and valid ARRT CT registry certification.
  • NJ DEP X-ray License: Must hold a current and valid NJ DEP X-ray license.
  • Leadership Potential: Must demonstrate leadership potential and ability to direct a workforce.
  • Knowledge of Cross-Sectional Anatomy: Must have knowledge of and proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Must have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Initiative and Problem-Solving: Must have the initiative and ability to set and achieve high standards of performance, and to make progress on multiple assignments under time constraints.
