Relief Pharmacist

About the Role:
The Relief Pharmacist is a key member of the Tulane University Campus Health team, dedicated to supporting and promoting student health and wellbeing as a core institutional value through a multidisciplinary, comprehensive approach.
This relief pharmacist position reports to the Pharmacist-In-Charge and is responsible for dispensing medication, providing patient counseling, upholding pharmaceutical standards and operations of the Campus Health Pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispensing medication and providing patient counseling
- Upholding pharmaceutical standards and operations of the Campus Health Pharmacy
- Reporting to the Pharmacist-In-Charge
- Leading and supervising pharmacy staff
- Collaborating with nurses and providers to maintain a consistently high standard of care
- Working closely with the Campus Health clinical staff
Requirements:
- Skills in providing exemplary patient care and customer service
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Louisiana Pharmacist License in good standing
- Over 2 years of retail pharmacist experience
- Certified Immunizer
- Experience with third party billing and insurance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in college health setting
- Experience with supervising pharmacy staff or students
- Experience with managing pharmacy software
