Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Diabetes Specialist to join our team in the Southeast region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in diabetes education and sales, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities- Territory Planning: Develop effective territory strategies to meet/exceed sales goals, working closely with the Territory Business Leader (TBL).
- Clinical Selling: Execute clinical selling strategies within assigned accounts, leveraging product knowledge and expertise to drive adoption and confidence in Sequel products.
- User Education: Facilitate product education and training for users of Sequel products, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of our technology and its benefits.
- Healthcare Provider Adoption: Drive healthcare provider adoption and confidence in Sequel products by promoting the clinical benefits of automated insulin delivery and conducting impactful product demonstrations.
- Product Training: Certify healthcare providers to conduct product training for people with diabetes, ensuring consistent and high-quality educational experiences.
- Communication: Collaborate with customer care and sales support to optimize the user experience, providing timely and effective communication to resolve issues and improve product development.
- A valid professional license in one or more of the following fields: RN, RD, PA, NP, Pharmacist.
- Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) certification preferred.
- 2+ years of experience coordinating and conducting diabetes education, with strong experience in the technical use of diabetes technology preferred.
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position, requiring frequent travel within the assigned territory. The successful candidate will be expected to work extended hours during peak business cycles and occasional weekends. We are committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
Additional Requirements for Senior CDS Role- Demonstrated history of top-tier success (top 25%) and meeting clinical metrics in the medical device industry.
- Served in developmental and leadership roles such as field sales trainer, mentor new hires, field advisory board/marketing or clinical input committee programs.
- Experience representing the organization at industry conferences/conventions (i.e., ADA, ADCES).
- Demonstrated career progression/promotions into roles with increased responsibility.
