Job Summary:
The Environmental Services housekeeping team at WakeMed is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment within the facility. This includes performing routine housekeeping and cleaning duties such as dry and damp mopping floors, vacuuming rugs and carpets, dusting and sanitizing surfaces in clinical work areas, offices, hallways, restrooms, and patient rooms.

Responsibilities:
• Perform various routine housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Assist in the promotion of a quality experience for patients, families, staff, and facility users
• Maintain the cleanliness and infection prevention within the facility

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
• Experience in housekeeping and cleaning in an institutional environment, preferably in healthcare
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization

Work Schedule:
10am to 6:30pm, every other weekend
