Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Specialist to join our Environmental Services team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and infection prevention and control within our facilities.

Responsibilities

As a Sanitation Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the appearance of all flooring types within our facilities
  • Performing routine housekeeping and cleaning duties, including dry and damp mopping floors, vacuuming rugs and carpets, dusting and sanitizing surfaces in clinical work areas, offices, hallways, restrooms, and patient rooms
  • Assisting in the promotion of a quality experience for our patients, families, staff, and visitors

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3 years of experience in floor care in an institutional environment, preferably in healthcare
  • A high school diploma or equivalent

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with a varied schedule, including:

  • 10-6:30am shifts
  • Every other weekend
  • As-needed call requirements
