Highway Infrastructure Cost Estimator

As a Highway Construction Estimator at Specialized Pavement Marking, Inc., you will play a critical role in the success of our company. You will be responsible for developing estimates for construction projects, analyzing data to identify trends and patterns, and providing recommendations to management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze plan-sets, specifications, proposals, and other construction documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for bidding construction projects
- Prepare preliminary pay estimates
- Detail itemized estimates based on final plans and specifications
- Develop estimates for commercial and public works job opportunities
- Communicate daily with dispatch for most effective scheduling of labor, equipment & materials
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A bachelor's degree in business management, construction management, or a related field.
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in highway, paving, or commercial marking estimating.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards.
- Proficient MS Office.
