Job Summary

The Coloplast Ostomy Care Consumer Advisor is a key member of our customer support team, responsible for providing expert guidance and education to individuals and caregivers who use our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and accurate responses to customer inquiries and concerns, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise on our products and services, enabling effective problem resolution and support.
  • Accurately document customer interactions and program enrollments in our systems, ensuring data quality and compliance with department procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with customers about sensitive healthcare topics, demonstrating empathy and a mature approach.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, competitor products, and business activities, utilizing this knowledge to enhance customer support and service.
  • Collaborate with the consumer care team to ensure seamless service delivery and achieve monthly activity goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and drive business success.
Requirements
  • Self-motivated and effective communicator with a structured approach to work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document work accurately.
  • Intermediate computer skills in MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to utilize the telephone effectively as a customer relations tool.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to travel (approximately 10%) for business purposes.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest ethical and professional standards, complying with applicable laws and regulations, and adhering to company policies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in healthcare customer service or sales.
  • Spanish fluency (verbal and written) is highly desirable.
  • Experience in a call center environment, with a focus on healthcare customer service.
  • Healthcare industry experience, with knowledge of medical processes and procedures.
