Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Minor League Athletic Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our Athletic Training/Medical Department, you will play a critical role in the prevention, care, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and illnesses incurred by Milwaukee Brewer Minor League players.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the prevention, care, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and illnesses under the supervision of a certified/licensed Athletic Trainer.
- Inform Minor League Head Athletic Trainer, Strength & Conditioning Specialist, Field Manager, and Coaches daily of all injuries and medical conditions of all players.
- Complete all treatment and individual rehabs before workouts and games.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical information and medical files on players and staff in the MLB Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
- Be present at all workouts and games through the championship season.
Requirements
- Bi-lingual candidates with the ability to speak Spanish are preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
