Minor League Athletic Trainer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Minor League Athletic Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our Athletic Training/Medical Department, you will play a critical role in the prevention, care, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and illnesses incurred by Milwaukee Brewer Minor League players.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the prevention, care, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and illnesses under the supervision of a certified/licensed Athletic Trainer.
  • Inform Minor League Head Athletic Trainer, Strength & Conditioning Specialist, Field Manager, and Coaches daily of all injuries and medical conditions of all players.
  • Complete all treatment and individual rehabs before workouts and games.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical information and medical files on players and staff in the MLB Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
  • Be present at all workouts and games through the championship season.

Requirements

  • Bi-lingual candidates with the ability to speak Spanish are preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
