Key Responsibilities
  • As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will evaluate patient and family health concerns, implement care plans, and assess outcomes.
  • Deliver professional nursing care and interventions to critically ill adult patients.
  • Provide care across various age groups, demonstrating an understanding of the developmental needs of each individual.
  • Actively participate in fulfilling the organization's mission and embody its core values.

In the dynamic environment of emergency nursing, no two days are alike. You will need to be a quick thinker, prioritizing patients based on their medical needs while performing emergency triage. Collaborating with a skilled clinical team, you will deliver stabilizing care, including IV starts, catheter insertions, and assisting with more complex procedures.

To excel as an ER nurse, you should demonstrate teamwork, professionalism, and critical thinking skills, alongside a readiness to engage in additional initiatives aimed at enhancing patient experiences. Above all, you should be enthusiastic and dedicated to providing quality care while upholding the dignity of every patient.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Two (2) years of experience as an emergency room RN
  • ADN diploma from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
  • Current RN license in the relevant state or a compact state license at the time of hire
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (to be obtained within 30 days)
