Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Nurse to join our team at Dignity Health. As an ER Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient/family health problems and resources, implementation, and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care.
  • Provide professional nursing care and interventions to acutely ill adult patient populations.
  • Position requires providing service to one or more age groups, including young adults through geriatric patients, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
  • Position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the organization.
  • It is expected that the employee demonstrates behavior consistent with the Core Values.
Work Environment

No two days in emergency nursing are ever the same. You'll prioritize patients based on their medical necessity while providing emergency triage to others. As part of our ER team, you'll partner with an experienced clinical team to deliver stabilizing care to our patients by performing IV starts, foley catheter insertions, or aiding providers with chest tube insertions.

Requirements
  • Two (2) years emergency room RN experience.
  • ADN diploma from an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
  • Current AZ RN license or a compact state RN license at the time of hire.
  • American Heart Association BLS.
  • American Heart Association ACLS.
  • American Heart Association PALS (within 30 days).
  • Must exhibit genuine kindness and compassion for every individual that enters the hospital.
