Join Our Team as Archaeological Technicians

Tetra Tech, a leader in delivering innovative solutions for intricate challenges, is seeking dedicated and skilled Archaeological Technicians to enhance our team. In this role, you will engage in archaeological field operations across California and Nevada, with opportunities for projects in additional regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute archaeological assessments, testing, excavations, and monitoring utilizing diverse field techniques.
  • Employ GPS technology, ArcGIS, and other software tools for effective data gathering and analysis.
  • Compile technical documentation and accurately report archaeological discoveries.
  • Travel to various project sites for field assignments.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in anthropology or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Cultural Resource Management.
  • Familiarity with GPS devices, TerraSync, and ArcGIS software.
  • Excellent writing and editing capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team and undertake travel for extended durations.

Essential Requirements:

  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and physical examination if necessary.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving history.
  • Certification in First Aid/CPR.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

  • Engage in manual labor and operate in outdoor settings.
  • Capability to bend, kneel, stand, and lift items weighing up to 35 lbs.
  • Willingness to participate in extended field rotations.

Compensation:

Salary will be based on experience.
