Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and installing electro-mechanical systems, ensuring high-quality products that meet our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and install electro-mechanical systems, including positioning, aligning, and fastening units to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames.
  • Connect cables, tubes, and wiring according to standard manufacturing methods and procedures.
  • Repair and maintain electrical and electro-mechanical equipment, analyzing and initiating assembly methods as required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and validate recommendations.
  • May be required to lead a team or take on additional responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of basic hand tools, including torque, crimper, etc.
  • Intermediate soldering skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in ALSTOM-specific databases and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including drawings and wire lists.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing and lifting of loads up to 40 lbs.
  • Occasional bending, climbing, and use of ladders.
  • Requires wearing personal protective equipment, including steel-toe shoes and safety glasses.
