Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician III to join our team at U.S. Facilities, Inc. This role involves assisting higher-level technicians in responding to work orders and providing service and feedback to customers on all work orders, troubleshooting, and performing preventive maintenance on the facility's mechanical equipment, fixtures, and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and trouble calls
  • Assist senior facility maintenance mechanics in responding to work orders, providing service and feedback to customers, and performing preventive maintenance on various types of equipment as scheduled
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and perform required preventative maintenance actions such as lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc.
  • Recommend measures to improve maintenance methods and equipment performance
  • Understand company policies and enforce safety regulations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent
  • Three to five years of experience in industrial facility maintenance, industrial HVAC, industrial mechanical machine repair, or automotive repair
  • Ability to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift at heights up to 30 feet or higher
  • Valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of drywall, patch, and paint
  • Knowledge of electronic door locking mechanisms
  • Knowledge of facility mechanical systems such as heating and ventilation, plumbing, and conveyors, and reverse osmosis systems
  • Knowledge of machinery and equipment such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, supply and exhaust fans, power transmission components, cranes, hoists

Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. This position may require a valid Driver's License. This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization. This position will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our client's location. This position may require various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules.
