Requirements:

  • Current dental hygienist license in WA
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry and dental hygiene procedures

Preferred Experience:

  • 2-3 years of clinical experience
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times

Edgewood Family Dentistry is a unique dental practice that prioritizes patient care and community involvement. With the support of a practice manager and a highly trained team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

  • Join a 7 person team that thrives on collaboration, communication, and community
  • We're located at 2222 Meridian Ave E, Edgewood, Washington 98371
  • 4 Days per week, Monday-Thursday Ideal schedule promoting a healthy work/life balance

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current dental hygienist license in WA and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification

Preferred Experience:

  • 2-3 years of clinical experience
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
  • Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
