As a Manager at Belk, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the fine jewelry department. This includes:

  • **Hiring and Staff Management**: Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales associates and management staff to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
  • **Inventory Management**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory levels, including tracking stock levels, managing stockroom organization, and ensuring timely restocking of merchandise.
  • **Sales and Merchandising**: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth, including creating visually appealing displays, managing product placement, and promoting sales events.
  • **Store Appearance and Maintenance**: Ensure the fine jewelry department is well-maintained, clean, and visually appealing, including managing the appearance of fixtures, displays, and overall store appearance.
  • **Accounting and Administration**: Manage cash handling, process sales transactions, and maintain accurate records, including sales reports, inventory levels, and employee timecards.

**Requirements**
