Daily Responsibilities

As a Coastal Management Cleaning Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Operating beach cleaning vehicles to remove debris and maintain the cleanliness of our beaches.
  • Securing equipment for transport and ensuring all tools are in proper working order.
  • Communicating effectively with supervisors and collaborating with various departments, including parks and beach patrol.
  • Completing necessary documentation and forms accurately.
  • Providing assistance during special events and fostering positive interactions with visitors.

This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work as part of a team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and contribute to the overall success of our operations.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess a valid Class C Texas driver's license.
  • Ability to obtain Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) certification (training provided upon hire).
  • Capable of driving in various weather conditions.
  • Physically fit to perform demanding manual labor and stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Basic math skills are required.

Work Schedule

This full-time position operates on a rotating schedule that may include weekends, holidays, and special events, adapting to the needs of the organization.
