About the Role

Kansas City Peterbilt, Inc. is seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our growing Service Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of heavy & medium-duty diesel engine and chassis repair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance services (PM) and replacement and/or repair of all major and minor components found in today's equipment.
  • Repair and maintain heavy-duty diesel engines, transmissions, and drivetrain components using advanced diagnostic tools and software.
  • Work on various types of heavy-duty vehicles, including Peterbilt trucks, utilizing your knowledge of OEM specifications and factory-trained procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic or Technician preferred.
  • Strong understanding of diesel engines, transmissions, and drivetrain systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • CDL preferred but not required.
