Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Equipment Technician to join our team at General Dynamics Corporation. As an Electrical Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, overhauling, troubleshooting, modifying, constructing, and testing various types of electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment and related devices on board Naval Vessels.

You will apply technical knowledge of electronics principles to put equipment in operational condition and solve moderately complex problems. Troubleshoots and corrects malfunctions using specialized test and diagnostic equipment. Modifies circuitry to improve performance. Makes recommendations for improvements or modifications to correct problems. May provide operation and maintenance instruction to customer personnel. Performs preventative maintenance. Participates in special projects, as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, repair, overhaul, troubleshoot, modify, construct, and test electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment and related devices on board Naval Vessels
