Electrical Technician

**Job Summary:**
The Electrical Apprentice will assist our experienced Journeyman Electricians in the service and repair of fuel dispensing systems, commercial electric installations, and other related systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in the electrical trade while working with a dynamic and growing company.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Read and interpret schematic diagrams, product specifications, and installation and start-up procedures to ensure accurate and efficient repairs.
* Select and procure materials and parts required to complete assigned repairs, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of tasks.
* Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently to accomplish assigned tasks, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
* Maintain and own tools required for the position, ensuring they are in good working condition and properly stored.
* Complete assigned tasks quickly, completely, and consistently with guidelines, prioritizing quality and safety above all else.
**Safety and Compliance:**
* Understand and comply with company safety policies, including OSHA regulations and guidelines.
* Participate in scheduled safety meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on the latest safety procedures and best practices.
* Identify potential safety hazards and report them to the Journeyman Electrician for resolution prior to beginning work.
* Report accidents or injuries to the Journeyman Electrician immediately, ensuring prompt and effective response to any incidents.
**Requirements:**
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Three years of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and procedures.
* Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, communicating effectively with colleagues and management.
* Valid driver's license, with a clean driving record and no moving violations.
* Ability to meet company employment requirements, including passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR, if driving for the company.
* Physical ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with frequent bending, stooping, and standing for 8-10 hours per day.
