The Town of Farragut is seeking a highly skilled Stormwater Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our environmental team, you will be responsible for managing the development and administration of our stormwater program, conducting plans reviews, and preparing and maintaining files and records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records and compile statistics for annual reports
  • Prepare annual stormwater budget and reports, memos, and other office correspondence
  • Respond to citizen inquiries, complaints, and requests regarding stormwater, surface water, and illicit discharges
  • Assist with reviewing development plans for sites, subdivisions, and town projects for compliance with applicable stormwater regulations
  • Work with developers and contractors to design systems and methods to mitigate the effect of pollutants and accomplish goals of stormwater management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
  • Three or more years of experience managing compliance with an environmental permit
  • Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation Erosion Control (Level 1) certification
