Job Title: General Manager of Maintenance

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled General Manager of Maintenance to lead our maintenance team at Mountain Air Cargo. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement in our maintenance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance personnel, including supervisors, technicians, and administrative staff.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Oversee the maintenance of aircraft, including inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, resources, and schedules to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including operations, safety, and quality, to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure maintenance personnel have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and report on maintenance performance, including metrics such as on-time delivery, quality, and safety.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as aviation, engineering, or business.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
  • At least 5 years of experience in maintenance management, including experience in Part 121, 135, or Part 145 operations.
  • Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, industry best practices, and maintenance management principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
