We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN, Vice President of Population Health and Health Equity to join our team at Parkland Health. This is a unique opportunity to lead our efforts in population health and health equity, working collaboratively with our Chief Medical Officer, Marketing, Provider Relations, and Quality Management teams.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement projects and programs to promote health equity and reduce health disparities in our community.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to advance our mission and work.
- Lead the development and implementation of integrated models of care management programs and services.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies.
- Manage the financial performance of assigned areas and promote operational efficiency.
- Recruit and retain diverse talent and promote a culturally welcoming work environment.
- Act with the highest integrity and ethical standards, adhering to Parkland's Mission, Vision, and Values.
- Bachelor's degree in business, public health, nursing, social work, or related discipline required.
- Master's degree in public health preferred.
- Five years of leadership experience with population health and health equity required.
- Three years of experience with Texas Medicaid, Medicaid and/or a Medicaid managed care organization required.
- Experience with culturally and linguistically appropriate services (CLAS).
- Project Management certification, Six Sigma certification preferred.
- Current and unrestricted licensure as a RN or Social Worker in the State of Texas required.
