The Opportunity:

  • You'll manage psychiatric concerns, psychosocial issues, and health behavior change through brief psychotherapeutic interventions delivered virtually.
  • Participate in rounds with psychiatric consultants and care managers to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide education and consultation to behavioral health care managers and primary care providers.
  • Oversee referrals to specialty mental health services and support a smooth transition from specialty mental health services to primary care and back.
  • Collaborate with other behavioral health providers across our national network to improve behavioral health skills company-wide.

Requirements:

  • Must be a licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD, PsyD, EdD) with no current supervision requirements.
  • Licensed to independently practice in DC and eligible for licensure in VA and MD.
  • 1 year post-licensure experience in adult outpatient diagnostic evaluation and psychotherapy, providing a range of brief, goal-directed, and focused clinical services.
  • Exceptional capacity to multitask, flexibility, and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Strong communication and teaching skills.
  • Willingness to work 40 hours per week, including 80% direct patient care and 20% administrative time.
