Job Summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Eating Disorder Clinic team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert psychiatric care to patients with eating disorders and co-morbid psychiatric conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage patients with eating disorders and co-morbid psychiatric conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care
  • Provide ongoing psychiatric medication management and crisis intervention
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner program
  • California Registered Nurse (RN) license, California Nurse Practitioner (NP) license, and Furnishing License Certification
  • Current Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification (PMHNP)
  • Recent relevant clinical training or work experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Preferred Qualifications
  • Recent experience with eating disorder patients
  • Successful completion of a PMHNP fellowship program
