Senior Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Manager to join our Tactical Operations team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a shift team of Operational Control Managers (OCM) and Operational Restoration Technicians (ORT) to ensure seamless operational performance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize asset performance and deliver great service to our customers.
  • Act as an escalation point for all operational events, taking control of those that present a heightened business risk.
  • Collaborate with other business-wide senior stakeholders to develop an accurate situational understanding of operational events.
  • Proactively lead, coach, and enable a team of technical experts to identify, manage, mitigate, and escalate risk.
Requirements:
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in an operational management role.
  • Extensive specialist, operational water industry knowledge and skills.
  • Strong and proven performance management skills.
  • Regulatory knowledge or proven experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills, including the ability to present complex information for a non-specialist audience.
