The Certified Respiratory Therapist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to patients across all age groups, from neonates to seniors. This position involves collaboration with healthcare professionals, including physicians and interdisciplinary teams, to ensure comprehensive patient support, both physically and emotionally, for patients and their families.
The therapist is expected to foster a constructive working relationship with colleagues, physicians, and other healthcare departments.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
Educational Requirements
- Graduate from an Accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
Licensure Requirements
- Must possess a valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in the state of Kentucky.
- Demonstrated strong clinical abilities and effective communication skills.
Experience Requirements
Work Experience
- A minimum of two years of experience in pulmonary care and/or rehabilitation is preferred.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are required or must be obtained within six months of employment.
