Our Behavioral Health Unit is a dynamic and compassionate environment where our staff are dedicated to providing the highest level of care to our patients. As a Mental Health Care Specialist, you'll work closely with our licensed personnel to ensure our patients receive the best possible care.
Job Summary

Responsibilities
As a Mental Health Care Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assisting patients with meals, ambulation, and other daily activities
- Collecting vital signs, performing I&O, and conducting specimen collection
- Collaborating with our team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Nurse Aide course or equivalent
- Certification as a Kentucky Nurse Aide Registry (CNA)
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Experience in mental health care or a related field (preferable)
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
