Heavy Bay Fabricator - Welder

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Bay Fabricator - Welder to join our team at Henderson Products Upfit Center in Manchester, IA. As a leading manufacturer of multi-purpose equipment for heavy-duty work trucks, we specialize in snow and ice control solutions sold through independent dealers and direct to government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform heavy bay activities, including Mig welding, fabrication, and assembly of equipment on heavy-duty work truck builds.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment as needed.
  • Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and installation.
  • Perform shop math calculations to ensure accurate measurements and cuts.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs.
  • Bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Exposure to noise and weld/grinding smoke at times.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $22-24/hour, with potential for increase based on experience.
  • Day shift position with hours of 5am to 3:30pm, Monday - Friday.
  • Immediate Paid Time Off.
  • Retention Incentive of $1/Hour for Every Hour Worked & $1.50/Hour for Every OT Hour Worked - paid out quarterly.
  • Attendance Incentive - Additional Paid Time Off - based on monthly attendance.
