Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Control Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Control Technician, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining electrical control systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), motor starters, and other related equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, test, and maintain electrical control systems, including PLCs, motor starters, and other related equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical control systems, including PLCs, motor starters, and other related equipment.
  • Develop and implement programming modifications to the factory automation systems to facilitate plant performance standards and simplify operator intervention.
  • Provide hardware and software support to the plant automation network.
  • Develop, initiate, and support plans to optimize and simplify existing plant automation and control systems.
Requirements
  • 2-year degree from vocational school in industrial electronics and controls or 10 years of industrial electrical and controls experience with at least 5 years of experience with Allen Bradley Programmed Logic Control related products and ladder diagram logic.
  • Above-average troubleshooting skills to sustain plant production.
  • Knowledge of electrical tools, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, amp-meters, megohmmeters, power meters, process meters, etc.
  • Above-average computer skills, including report writing, presentations, spreadsheets, and project management, including most Microsoft products.
Working Conditions

Will be exposed to extreme environmental conditions (hot, cold, humid). Wearing of PPE is required.
