Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension Seton. As a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines to provide well-coordinated patient care.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders to ensure timely and effective care.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team to ensure a smooth transition.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date required.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or professional licensure at time of hire required.
