Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Nurse to join our Behavioral Health team as a consultant, educator, practitioner, and researcher. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric nursing and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients with complex psychiatric needs
  • Prescribe and distribute medications, including controlled substances
  • Perform patient history and physical exams as needed for procedures or admissions
  • Document findings and communicate with other healthcare team members
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Advanced Practice Nurse License (CNP, CNS, CRNA) in New Mexico
  • 1 year of psychiatric experience
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider certification
Working Conditions
